So true! I've been around long enough to realize that when I see "I Made $15,432 My First Week Promoting This Amazing Product - You Can Too!" that the details that they are leaving out is that they have been tirelessly working at getting their traffic, subscribers, and sales for weeks, months, or years, and now all of the hard work has finally paid off.

When you hit the point that you can make such a bold statement, then sit down for a second, rewind in your brain, and in your heart really know how long it took you. Only you know what you have done and how much energy is expended. And although I am not a betting person, I'd even wager a buck that this person did not fall off the turnip truck last Monday and make the big bucks in a week. They've been around for a while...

To clarify...the number $15,432 that I used is not an official number, that headline is nothing more than my imagination at work, and it's where my fingers hit the number keys on my computer.

This is still one of my all time favourite posts I've ever read.

I have to admit that even though I consider myself to be an intelligent person, though not in the 'book smarts way' I have found myself doiing so many of the things I myself have stated are bad/stupid/plain brain dead. Mainly due to lack of attention to detail.

After two years or so of playing at Internet Marketing, and I make no attempt to hide the fact that until recently I wasn't 100% in the game. Even though I believed I was doing all I could. I was really just doing all there was, s fast as possible and waiting for something to stick.

Of course a few things did for maybe a day, "chuck enough at the wall something will stick"

It was only when I took stock of what I had done (and not what I was doing) that I saw what was wrong and what was missing. What worked and what didn't. Until that point I was blindly grabbing at dollars in the wind.

well said mate, once a while its good to just stand under a shower, close the eyes, think for a while - why it isnt working? or why it isnt growing?

Once you do that with clear mind, the first answer is the right answer.

Most of the times, I have two answers - I am not working enough or I need to learn more about it.

When its learn more about it - don't laze because its not Phd that you need to do - get on it - read for couple of hours on authority sites - discuss here or should I say in forums - get the answers - match the findings with authority sites - confirm your doubts and you will learn it -

If you leave it for other day, you will earn only after that 'other day'
