I was just cleaning up my inbox and came across this time management
email, compliments of Michael E. Young...
Here's a quick method that's worked for me and others who have tried it.
- Get yourself an inexpensive timer.
- Set it for 50 minutes.
- Give yourself the freedom to focus on one important task for that 50 minutes. That means you are voluntarily pushing aside everything else for the period of time and allowing yourself to just do one thing.
- At the end of 50 minutes, take a 10-minute break.
- Repeat.
Bet you'll double your productivity just with this one simple change to the way you work.
I'm about to put this plan to the test. A good friend and client want's me to
finish his eBook.
Hope I can do it in 50 minutes...
