Has anyone here read The Master Key System..By Charles F Haanel. It is among the best reading related to Self Improvement and positive thought that I have read.

Being a hypnotherapist/psychotherapist, I find these sort of things helpful as everyone is different with what works for them. Also, the majority of them are actually hypnosis/hypnotherapy (well isn't almost everything putting us in to some sort of trance?! eg t.v. advertising, stories...etc)

I've got that. It's excellent. takes a long time as there are over 26 modules I think. The main thing is to actually do the exercises that he sets at the end of each session. It's powerful stuff with some mind stretching concepts as well.

I am currently editing this book as I believe it is a work of genius. Haanel was a 32nd degree freemason I believe. I recommend reading the unedited/unabridged version. I paid £500 upwards for this course to become a reseller of a rehashed version - no kidding. I have no regrets - the info is quality and if you pay for it, you are more likely to take action IMHO.

I have a hard bound copy that was reprinted in 1987 which is an unabridged edition with additional matter.

On a page of advice between the foreword and introduction it says in part...
"If you wish to enjoy the utmost practical benefit from "The Master Key"---go slowly.

Transfuse into your mind the contents of one part only, each week for twenty-four weeks.

So I would suggest a physical copy would be better from a study point of view.
It is described on the fly cover as "One of the greatest works ever written on Psychology. It imparts a practical, working knowledge of the Creative Processes of Thought, and affords the reader a means of securing Personal Happiness, Advancement and Leadership
I think some of the latest findings of some scientists/physicists may be at odds with some of the ideas within it's covers but nevertheless it is very interesting.

PS Only last week I saw the one like I have on sale on Amazon for about £23.50 but like every other book that contains a vast amount of knowledge it is only valuable when applied after first understanding it.

Hi Guys

I am glad to see that quite a few people have read or are reading this book. I was introduced to it by a friend and I Google it and found a free ebook copy online.

The thing is I always thought of my self as an avid reader and truthfully I have read many many of the most talked about self development books but for whatever reason never came across The Master Key System until recently.

I have to say that I am happy that I did and maybe now is the right time for me to be reading this particular book because I find myself putting the principles that I have learned so far to use daily.

There is someone in the Warrior forum who has asked me to find out if there are others who have or are studying the book and would like to form a group whether on Skype or where ever possible to study it together.

If you are interested please share ideas on how we could bring a group of interested people together to study the book.

I saw a copy in an Oxfam charity shop in Chesterfield, UK (small, hard back) about a year ago. I wish I had bought it. When I went back, it had gone! Probably worth ten times what was being asked for it at that time.

IT is a set of lessons and not to be read in one setting.

Just read and do the lessons on schedule and you will see your life change.

The best thing that can help you with motivation is you yourself.
It sounds so obvious but that is because it is.

All you really have to do is ask yourself this question which although seems to be simple many people find it very difficult to answer and even if they do they show that they never really answered it correctly as their actions or more often than not lack of actions show otherwise.

OK... the question is...What do I really want in my life?

Like I said it is a simple short question but if you were to ask your friends if they had answered it they would more than likely not have a clue.. try it and see.

If you do answer the question fully specifically and above all honestly you will see things start to happen in your life as if by magic but it is not magic it is yourself finding what you really really want and the strong desire to get it will get it for you.

If it doesn't happen for you it means that you didn't really want it to happen and therefore the true desire is not there to accomplish it.

Ok you may have heard it before ... but have you tried it? Go one at least put it to the test and you may find that you can then help others to motivate themselves.
