    ???

It seems too good to be true but I can see how the forced matrix system they use can exponentially grow your monthly income.

I'd like to know if any members here have tried this yet. I have signed up anyway and am giving it a go because I really believe this system will work so I'll let you know how it goes. It's only $9.95 so I can live with losing that.

in the first place. Because I've only just started I was just wondering if any others on this forum have used the system. Apparently once you get 10 people signed up for $9.95 it starts to spread like wild flower and you can earn a decent monthly income for life. I've already got a few members enlisted so I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I made my first $6.00 commission within the first 4 hours or so using free traffic methods only so I'm pretty excited to see what happens over the next month or so.

    Just a question:
What do you get for your $9.95 a month?

From the site it seems that the opportunity to make money is the main
thing you are paying for making this program illegal. I see you get access
to a lot of digital products when you sign up for the $9.95, but what do
you pay for in month 2 and forth?

That I can't find the name of the owner also makes me a little unsafe
when it comes to this "opportunity". Does anyone know who the owner
    is?

    Hi Victoraroestad,

For $9.95/month you get access to over 3000 digital products which you can sell, package up, or use for yourself to build your online business which is worth more than $9.95 itself.

I don't see how the opportunity to make money from this is illegal. You are merely recruiting new members to a membership site. Same as any other affiliate program, except the income potential is massive because of the way the whole system is structured. At the very least, you are paying $9.95 each month to have access to his 3000+ ebook and software package.

There is a comprehensive affiliate tools section with banners, auto-responder emails etc... which makes it easy to promote and get new members. Without putting much effort in, I have 5 new members signed up under me since I started two days ago. You only need 10 members for the system to earn you a very nice monthly income - for life!

There is a monthly membership fee of $9.95 but you only have to get a handful of people to join to cover that cost so it's nothing really.

As far as I know, the owner's name is Matthew Getty but that's most likely his pen name.

    Cheers.

It's always a bit hard to know excactly if a program is an illegal pyramid scheme, so I'll just post the explanation written by the FTC (Federal Trade Commision):

What is a Pyramid Scheme and What is Legitimate Marketing?

Pyramid schemes now come in so many forms that they may be difficult to recognize immediately. However, they all share one overriding characteristic. They promise consumers or investors large profits based primarily on recruiting others to join their program, not based on profits from any real investment or real sale of goods to the public. Some schemes may purport to sell a product, but they often simply use the product to hide their pyramid structure. There are two tell-tale signs that a product is simply being used to disguise a pyramid scheme: inventory loading and a lack of retail sales. Inventory loading occurs when a company's incentive program forces recruits to buy more products than they could ever sell, often at inflated prices. If this occurs throughout the company's distribution system, the people at the top of the pyramid reap substantial profits, even though little or no product moves to market. The people at the bottom make excessive payments for inventory that simply accumulates in their basements. A lack of retail sales is also a red flag that a pyramid exists. Many pyramid schemes will claim that their product is selling like hot cakes. However, on closer examination, the sales occur only between people inside the pyramid structure or to new recruits joining the structure, not to consumers out in the general public.

Many pyramid schemes are not closed down by the FTC as they usually do not live long enough for the FTC to notice them.

MyMoneyFish might not be a scam, but for me they are to unsertain for me to join. I've met my share of scams and have learned to only choose completely secure programs.

    Thanks Victor. Good info.

I'm jumping on this bandwagon while it lasts. It perfectly legitimate in my opinion. It's win/win/win for everybody so I don't see a problem with it. If somebody was getting ripped off along the way that would be another story...

If there is some sort of problem with it and it gets shut down, so be it. I'm always working on multiple sources of income so if one fails, I've got backups already in place. I certainly wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket.

    Cheers.

I may as well throw in my 2c here.

M$F in no way qualifies as an illegal pyramid or a Ponzi scheme as some have said. I have a considerable amount of experience with MLMs over the years. This one simply offers a vast array of downloadable products which carry the MRR so you can do with them as you wish.

I have downloaded several things that are quite useful to me, whether I choose to resell them or not. If you haven't noticed, 10 bucks doesn't buy much these days so I would say they offer an excellent return for the minimal amount invested.

What cracks me up is I have talked to people who are scared of M$F, but yet spend far more each month on the lotto. You have about as much chance of winning the lotto as getting attacked by a great white shark, hit by lightning, and attacked by a polar bear on the same day. I simply don't get the logic there.

This program does not require spending thousands of dollars on vitamins or something similar to sit in your garage forever that you can't sell because they are so expensive.

Come on folks, this this takes minimal money and effort with potentially huge profit. If you're not comfortable with risking 10 bucks and a few hours of your time, that's fine.

Before you start declaring that something is illegal without taking the time to research the matter, you might well be advised that there are laws in virtually every country that have severe penalties for liable and slander. Unless you are a lawyer and are prepared to defend your position, I would advise that you reconsider making claims in a public forum that are available all over the world. Just a word to the wise.

Btw, Matthew Getty owns the Company, for what that's worth. Also, it costs the whopping sum of 10 bucks a month to stay active and receive commissions. They will be adding more software etc. as it goes so you are still getting something valuable for your money.

There are hundreds of millions of people who want and need to make more money. I'll bet every one of them knows 10 people in the same boat.

Will this last forever and make me a billionaire? I doubt it. Will I risk a few bucks and a few hours to find out? You bet! I had people in my forth level within 48 hours of signing up, without even trying, no less. I'll take that bet all day long.

    Cheers,

As I said in my post, MyMoneyFish might not be a scam, but for me they are to unsertain for me to join. I posted the FTC's explanation so people can "do the research" as you and make their own opinion.

And it's not about the 10 bucks, eighter, it's the few hours invested. If it's not a good company I could make a lot more progres using that time in a good company.

You choose to join MyMoneyFish, I choose another company.

Be sure to report back here when you are earning $22.000 and I'l join without blinking an eye

    victoraroestad,

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a foolproof company anymore. Even some "real" companies that you think are bulletproof end up as front page news for collapsing.

I was bigtime in Herbalife many years ago when the news show 60 Minutes reported that their products were killing people. The report was proven false and it took months to get a tiny printed retraction from CBS saying they were wrong. Of course, my business went to zero overnight. Overall, I still made a profit, and the company is going strong today. But, they are doing so without me.

Today, there is no way I would spend tons of money and countless hours building any MLM business. Just because I can do something, doesn't mean I can recruit other people who can or will do what it takes. I think the days of doing that are long gone.

That's what I like about M$F. Minimal investment of both time and money. The products are worth many times the cost and the investment is chump change, yet upside is tremendous. This is about as close to a "no brainer" as I have run across in years.

Each to their own. I wish you luck in your MLM adventure.

Just my take, I am not a lawyer...but been around income opportunities a while...
This has a product and as a side it is a product that has use. Just because it has an MLM flair to it will cause many to yell scam...If you read the FTC defenition closely this does not qualify to be a problem.

Not that I like the marketing angle, but what the heck don't call something purple that is green.

Well all I can say is it smells fishy though. But we still need to research more before judging the site.

Like any MLM type program, it starts with good research of the company, business owners, types of products or services they offer. If there's a legitimate need or want for that type of products, then you have a chance of making some sales. As long as its not structured to like a Ponzi structure, where you get paid to recruit people. The FTC is coming down hard on those types of programs. Even if a company is not doing anything illegal after the fact, like Donn mentioned above. Herbalife still took a huge hit for awhile. They look like they recouped, but at what cost?

For $10, sounds like its a no brainer to at least test out the company for a month. Then after doing some more digging around in their back office, you can get more details about what they are like.

Here are some info that might be valuable any time you want to look into
a program that you are uncertain about:

The government (through the Federal Trade Commission) cannot tell you whether a particular multilevel marketing plan is legal. Nor can it give you advice about whether to join such a plan. You must make that decision yourself. However, both CFR and the FTC suggest that you use common sense, and consider these seven tips when you make your decision:

    1. Avoid any plan that includes commissions for recruiting additional distributors. It may be an illegal pyramid.

    2. Beware of plans that ask new distributors to purchase expensive inventory. These plans can collapse quickly -- and also may be thinly-disguised pyramids.

    3. Be cautious of plans that claim you will make money through continued growth of your "downline" -- the commissions on sales made by new distributors you recruit -- rather than through sales of products you make yourself.

    4. Beware of plans that claim to sell miracle products or promise enormous earnings. Just because a promoter of a plan makes a claim doesn't mean it's true! Ask the promoter of the plan to substantiate claims with hard evidence.

    5. Beware of shills -- "decoy" references paid by a plan's promoter to describe their fictional success in earning money through the plan.

    6. Don't pay or sign any contracts in an "opportunity meeting" or any other high-pressure situation. Insist on taking your time to think over a decision to join. Talk it over with your spouse, a knowledgeable friend, an accountant or lawyer.

    7. Do your homework! Check with your local Better Business Bureau and state Attorney General about any plan you're considering -- especially when the claims about the product or your potential earnings seem too good to be true.
The FTC know their law, so any suggestions from them are valuable and should be taken into consideration.
