Ok, I'll have to ask ... what is "massive traffic method". Sorry, I'm a newbie to this forum.

Paying for traffic is pointless unless its through a pay per click (PPC) like Google's AdWords. You can easily get 10,000 visitors a day with these fast traffic systems.
The problem is the traffic is useless. At best you will get 5 maybe 6 people sing up but most likely they will be unresponsive and just hanging on for free stuff.

To get real targeted traffic that are looking for what you offer you need to build backlinks to your website.

Backlinks are usually built by commenting on someone's blog related to your offer and making sure you use a 'anchor' text' that is your websites main keyword.

Low quality traffic is worth nothing, always focusing on getting targeted traffic is the way to make good money. Traffic dont give you money but targeted traffic did

You can get good traffic for free if you know how to do it. I mean they are correct it is really pointless to have lots of traffic, but then the conversion rates are too low..

With PPC it's very easy. You could also buy a solo ad or something.

I don't know if that's possible, and don't waste your money on PPC just yet unless you TRULY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Your best bet in the early stages are to get right down to article marketing, forum marketing, blogging, and how to's. Start small and go big. If you write enough and forum market enough, you might be able to get 50-100 views, but 1000?? I don't know. Let me know if you do, so I can learn.

if you want to get targetted traffic to your site you need to use social network sites and book mark sites.

By posting your blog posts to sites like Digg, Reddit and Technorati can double the traffic to your site in no time.

All you have to do is use free programs like social marker but you need to join as many sites as possible that social marker posts to. To create even more traffic you may want to open 3 or 4 different accounts with each site and post to all of the sites 2 or 3 times every time you make a post on your blog.

I have seen my traffic double in less than 24 hours using this method. Don't feel bad about having many different accounts with the book mark sites, as some of the top marketers will have maybe 10 or more different accounts with these sites.

the truth is you have to use all methods of free traffic generation because you may not know which one will actually work for and some may work for you but only in the long run

Yeah, why buy paid ads if you haven't made a profit yet? You have to make money to spent money.

To be honest, I don't see why anyone would pay for ads to begin with. There's other methods that are free, people could use to generate traffic.

A simple solution for long term gain is to build a list. Once built you can do adswaps with other lists which will easily bring 1000 visitors a week to a site. Yes, difficult to start off with but think of your website as a long term business.
