It's true. Everybody has been searching for it to no avail. Everybody asks the same things...Is affiliate marketing worth it? Can you really make money? What is the secret to success?

The answer to the first two questions is yes. Not only is affiliate marketing worth it and makes money, it is the easiest way to make money on the Internet. With that said though we come to the Secret...

The Secret that has been so well hidden since affiliate marketing began is..........work.

It takes work and a steady commitment to your business to build the business. Nobody is just going to hand over money because they like you. You have to build traffic and trust. Traffic will get you buying customers. Trust will keep them coming back. Build relationship with your following, and the work gets easier with time.

I agree with you, great post :-)

An addon to that is, if you look at all the guys who are successful in affiliate marketing... they all have their own products.

Why?

Because they built their list from having their own product and launching it. They are now able to leverage that list to promote affiliate offers and make a stack of cash.

I found that to be true in the off line as well...
Many people fail off line because of a poor work ethic and seek the magic of the internet....

It take me about two years to get my site on the first page of Google for various keyphrases. Now I am still trying to improve my site so that it can increase my conversion rate.

It is true. Affiliate marketing requires work just as success requires it in an off- line business. Patience and consistence are important as one does his work. Desire to learn from those who are already successful.

I'm currently doing my affiliate marketing through affiliate landing pages..... I dont have my own affiliate website.... do you guys think that it's possible to make money using this method or is it vital that I create my own affiliate website?

Well are your landing pages doing well?
Are they converting to opt ins and buyers.

Can your CPA network track your clicks?
How are they matching to opt ins and bounce rate?

I think by website you mean blogs?
If that's the case i always think blogs are better as you keep adding content which is always good.

Hi There

The landing pages are converting and they are done well but the problem I'm having is getting enough traffic. I've recently started article writing and have been using proper keywords to write my articles, this seems to be helping with traffic. Still too early to tell though... I have also started a blog and hoping to get more traffic there also..

Success always comes down to work and two words: TAKING ACTION!!!

I believe one of the reasons why people usually don't succeed in business is lack of action due to fear of failure. I've learned that the more I fail from mistakes, the more I succeed.

I've been working on my affiliate site for about two years, but I'm building a HUGE authority site with TONS of competition. I can see the success slowly increasing, but I keep my patience and motivation because I know it does take work.

Right now, I rank (on average) #30 out of 795,000,000 for some VERY competitive keywords. I know I have alot of work ahead to move from page 3 or 4 to page one, but I'm determined!

Yes, as the OP said, it takes alot of work; those who expect to make money sitting on their laurels will be sorely disappointed

Everyone would want to be successful with affiliate marketing. Though it might require tedious work, FOCUS will greatly help.
