If you have a blog or site with RSS Feed setup, then there are hundreds of RSS directories and ping sites where you can submit your feed for backlinks.

Social Media Pages:

There are lot of social media sites, Squidoo and HubPages for example, that accept user generated content. You can publish your own articles on those sites and use the anchor text to link to your main site.

Other than the one listed, forum is also a good way to provide backlinks to your website.

Link building yeah we love to do that don't we .. Just make sure you don't get caught like I did the other day "by one of your very own members" that said 1 thing then did the other!!!

.. well If you check my blog you'll see I have a PR2 and I'm a proper newbie who doesn't even know how to cloak a link( I know it's not relevant.. but if you do now how-to teach me)

Anyway check out freetrafficsystem.com It's Quality backlinks too .. I found that these "massive article submission engins" usually post out to proper pants directory's usually where 1 bloke own 100 domain names split through a few different servers thats pants FTS do it the right way ... you'll be glad you did ...

It can be overwhelming sometimes.

You don't have to do every single one of them to succeed. Just be consistent in doing them even if that means 1 article a day for example.

Thanks again! One article per day may be a struggle, since I only have one written, but I could do one or a couple submissions per day. That's a great idea.

Does blog commenting really work that well?

Thanks for the info on link building. I heard that it wasn't a good idea to submit to hundreds of directories because Google doesn't like it. Am I thinking of something else? What are your thoughts on autopingers? Good for your site or not?
