Thread: Looking for traffic

Getting traffic, if you use the methods my friends above suggested is quite simple, but getting "targeted traffic" is key.

Another terrific way I get traffic is to submit my RSS Feeds to Feed Agregators. You can take feeds from several of your sources, like your articles, videos etc and put them into yahoo pipes which will create one large feed that encompasses many of your sites and submit them to the agregators. I get so much traffic from this but as well, you get some very high quality backlinks too!

Getting visitors to your site is the most important part of internet marketing. The words written on your site and the content on your site is a close second IMO.

Actually Keith. Traffic is useless if people are going to disappear because your content is sub-standard. You need to build a quality site before you can start driving traffic.
Then your traffic hopefully is the sort that will take action instead of zipping in and out.

My traffic process is as follows:

1. research longtail keywords with a round 1500 exact match results.
2. Take this list from 1 above and write 400 word article for each
3. Post article to ezine articles.
4. Once approved, post to top 10 article directories (just google to find them, do not worry about duplicate content issues this is syndication which is fine)
5. Set up 5 or 6 web2.0 properties (squidoo, blogger, wetpaint). Spin articles from 2 above and post to web2.0 properties.
6. Grab RSS feeds from web2.0 properties and article directories and submit to RSS feed sites.
7. Book mark all articles in directories and web 2.0 sites.
8. Convert articles to video and submit to video sites.
9. Create profile links to video, articles and web-20 sites
10. All links should point to your main money site

In MHO article marketing is not like it used to be a couple of years ago,target a keyword write an article and then send them over to your offer or site and you get tons of traffic.

Times have changed! I have been quietly making money online for a couple of years and articles were one of my main traffic methods...

I still write articles but only for backlinking purposes. its not very hard to create a blog on your niche with QUALITY CONTENT ON YOUR SITE and get on the first page of Google.

Do some backlinking methods...there are many, ask me and I will tell you what I am doing to get on the first page of Google, if you did your KEYWORD RESEARCH CORRECTLY VERY IMPORTANT...you will have tons of traffic...make sales build your list...THERE IS NO SECRET!! Its just being educated in what works take MASSIVE ACTION and SUCCESS will follow every time!

i'll say start with article marketing, write unique and relevant articles related to your niche,3 per day and watch the traffic flow,if it is good,continue,if bad....you know what to do

To be quite honest with you probably the best way is right here in the forums
but another powerful tool is to write an article about something in your niche that people are asking about.

Once you find out a solution to peoples questions then you can research it and answer the public in the form of an article.

While writing your article insert a link to your site or an affiliate link.

Then post that article on a site like ezine.com, now as people will be searching something in your niche on google it will display your article which is embedded in ezine.com and the better your keywords match the better ranked your article or site (since theyre linked)will be.

I really NEED TRAFFIC! I use safelist, emails, advertisement, text ads don't work good though.
