What is the Adswap, List Building & JV's section for exactly?

Well, unless you have been living with the dinosaurs, you would of heard this famous saying over and over "The Money Is In The List"

Basically this section is for anyone who as already got their own list or for anyone who wants to learn about how to start building their own list.

An Adswap is when Paul sends out an email blast to his list recommending Kevin's offer and in return Kevin will send out Paul's offer to his list.

Or

If someone has got a really great product but no list they might do what we call a JV (Joint Venture) deal. This is where the person with the list will send an email blast recommending the other persons great product in return for a percentage of the takings. Normally around 50% and in many cases for Front End products up to 100% - now you're wondering how we make money on that. Well that's a story for another day:-)

My current list building method (giving away eBooks on cnet) is not really generating results. My list stands at a whopping 49 people

and I don't have a product of my own...but I have stacks of PLR and MRR material which I need to do something with.

I am interested in all three of the methods you have mentioned and will keep an eye out on this section.

For those of you with a live list of at least 1000 prospects Paul and I via the Academy would be happy to schedule an AdSwap and for those of your between 1000 and 5000, we would like to help you by providing you with an email blast to twice as many of our customers.

So if you have 1000, as a one off we will introduce you to 2000 of our customers and we'll do that all the way up to 5000:10000.

We can easily handle up to 150,000 so if you're interested and can demonstrate a good live list and you know your open rate and click through rate, simply PM Paul and we'll take care of the rest.

Hope that's clear and I hope this little incentive helps you start Swaping and building your list with some serious commitment.

Remember we very strictly only do one email recommendation per week and October is already full and we are into early November, so first come first served, subject to the demonstrable caveats.

This is a great! I am interested in all three of the methods you have mentioned and will keep an eye out on this section.

To all swappers. Ad swap can help build your list fast. So please be honest in doing this or you will lost all their trust and no one would ever do a swap with you again. There are so many ad swappers that steals other list by not sending out to their list, maybe because they don't have the list. In doing ad swap it is advise to know your swap partner better by asking referrals and video or a screen shot of their list. If you don't have the list better do JV as what Paul previous told you.Just to be safe.

THanks for the adswap tips. I guess you really need to verify exactly how many people there are in each other's lists before sending anything.

Forgive me if I am a little naive on this subject but to 'swap lists' with another person surely is against 'Spam Laws'.
I was under the impression that you had to have an 'opt-in' list to carry out email marketing.
If this is the case, surely you would have to mention somewhere on your opt-in form that your supplied email would be passed to thirds parties? This is not explained in the above threads.

No, lists are not swapped. What happens is:

Say you, English Toastmaster, have a list of say 2000 and I, keithb, also have a list of 2000. We agree to adswap. You send out an email to you list along the lines of - My colleague keithb has this great report, download it here. The download link goes to my optin page to receive the report. I do the same for you with your own report and your own optin page. This way, your list gets the chance to optin with me and vice versa.

Keith is right NO List, NO Swap. And there's a JV partner's endorsement included on the e-mail marketing content about your offer. It's their (list) option whether they would give their e-mail address or not, it's up to them, after all that's a consented broadcast. And of course most JV's are using opt-in or squeeze pages to build their list because that the purpose of ad swap. This was not mentioned earlier.

I just joined this forum and I was glad to see an ad swap section. I have done several ad swaps and look forward to finding ad swap partners here as time goes on.
