I'll have an interesting Video Blog that I think will bring a smile to your face this week David...

Watch out via PM and my usual Academy email.

I am sure I must have loosened a screw whilst I was away on hols last week.

I love video....its just so immediate.. and I just like the fact that I don't have to craft a 50 page letter - no probs with that, but it limits your output so dramatically.

Yes I'm with Chris, I must say I have learned so much, and as was said a lot of its on video which I really need, because I'am a very visual person, it helps with the learning curve. I was originally doing pot pie girls 'one week marketing' yes and this is good as well. I mean I printed off everything just so I could look at it and study. Jennifer relies on squidoo and a lot of the free methods, so it gave me a good start. But as I said I prefer the videos, it means I can stop and start them, when I'am trying to learn something new.

    Hi all,

I've just joined the forum and I am very glad that I FINALLY found another site that is nice and friendly. And proudly admittedly, I'm a Farrellite also. I found Chris back in Sept (by accident) and couldn't agree with everyone else more that Chris is an absolute inspiration! His method of teaching (videos and explanation) is unbelievable.

I was in search of a little thinking outside of the box, and am very interested and excited to learn as much as possible. The amount of knowledge that I've gained in the last 5 months (from where I started at a big fat ZERO) has made me feel much more confident. I realize I still have a lot to learn, but I'm very excited to learn at a steady pace and share everything that I can with anyone that may need a little encouragement.

Thank you for a warm welcome, and I look forward to meeting you all!

Before you buy,try out the free Camtasia version.I don't have the link at the moment but it is on Google. It's an older version and will still give you good practice on how it performs.

I'm reckoning I should download Chris Farrell's bits and pieces. Someone else suggested it to me but I didn't give it much thought. It's good to see some others who recommend him. Thanks for contribution and here's to all our successes for 2010.

Bill's comment about the older free version is worth taking seriously for your first exploratory steps.

    Hi,
I am new here and I am learning from Chris but it was not from him I learned of this site it was Kevin who sent me here.

There is much to learn from successful people no matter who they are. I only hope I can and it is really good to hear from others when they find people they can learn from.
I am looking for success too.

    Yeah I agree.

Chris is very honest and clear with his work. His websites and products are of high quallity and I also like his upsell strategies and his email auto's are well written.

People can learn a lot from they way he operates...

Thanks Robling and I agree Mogulmedia...

Watch out for this week's Video Blog on Saturday....I have spent the last 6 months + writing a book - well a huge undertaking actually....I thought it was going to kill me at times.

Anyway...my Video Blog provides an extract with some 13 great points for creating products...step by step...just watch, write them down and apply.

    Take care.

I agree this forum is fantastic & the administrators do not mind any of us giving resources to other members if it helps them to learn, that is not spam so don't worry about that. There may have been posts about Chris Farrell before but I have not seen them so thank you for posting that, it looks really good. As you may have noticed more & more people including Kevin are moving towards video tutorials because it works. Infact did you see the post about the weekly video tutorials we will be getting on here from Kevin & Paul?

I have to agree with the sentiment expressed here too.

I was a member of Chris's forum & I joined to "learn how to FTP!"

I had tried using the Control Panel in my host, simply because it said you could, so I did...or actually, to be more correct, I didn't!

I messed up a perfectly good .com blog I had previously loaded to my host.
No one told me about overwriting index files, so I just uploaded...everything & BOOM...
I thought I'd brought down #10 Downing Street & The Pentagon!
Now I had 3 sites "online", but if you typed in their addresses, all I got was the last site I'd up loaded.

    Needed some serious help here.

So, I learned a bit more from Jeff Hope, Chris's Web Guy & the great videos from Chris.
Needless to say, I just let all the corrupted sites "Pass Away" into the cyber cemetery & started over clean again, a bit wiser.

Understanding how to file files, use the desktop for current tasks, open zip files & dispose of the empty zip case were my biggest successes from watching Chris's videos.

Good stuff....still have a problem with Domains & sub Domains etc, but I have an expert web guy of my own now, who I can outsource this to & that sure relieves my stress!

    Kindest,
    Poppie
