Default get traffic to your blog

If you are involved in affiliate marketing, MLM or any business for yourself, having a blog is essential. But having a blog doesn't do you any good unless you can drive traffic to it. Here are some great ways to get more traffic to your blog:
    1) Create at least four keyword posts per day. Use a service like RSS 2 Blog and create several posts at once and have them served up one at a time.

    2) Submit your RSS feed to My Yahoo and Google's Reader. This will get them indexed.

    3) Add relevant links to your blog and trade them with others.

    4) Use ping sites like ping-o-matic. Ping your site every time you add a new post. If you are using WordPress, this is done for you automatically.

    5) Submit your blog to traditional search engines such as AltaVista, and MSN.

    6) Make a useful video and post it on Google Video. With webcams and digital video so cheap now, there is no excuse not to be using video.

    7) Post a profile on social networking sites like Ryze and My Space and link back to your blog. These sites generate huge traffic and the search engines will find them and pick you up. It also gets you a nice backlink with a high page rank.

    8) Submit your blog to traditional directories such as DMOZ. Directories (particularly DMOZ) increase relevance with Google. DMOZ is very picky, but what do you have to lose by trying?

Normally I would agree with you 100%,except that his username is directly related to the topic.Anywhere else it would be blatant advertising, not allowed in threads other than the Advertising Category of the forum.Otherwise members would start placing affiliate links in every comment. If your signature link is directly related to the comment you can use it in a post.Abuse of even this method will cause comment deletions or at least a warning. So "ExpertAdvertisingSolutions" be careful or I will give you a warning and possible deletion of your posts.

Impartiality is a key factor in any arbitration and is something I strive for on the net as well as in day to day real life encounters with people.Unfortunately ,tempers can get in the way and apologies may be the only resolution if calm explanations are not accepted.Someone is not always right nor always completely wrong. As you said, balance is the key.

Thanks cathy1 for your very informative and detailed note for getting traffic to the blog, and I am sure that newbie like me will definitely benefit from it. However, I would like to add one thing that submitting articles to ezine is also beneficial for few niches. Am I right?

Those are good points but everyone should already know this kind of stuff.

The big challenge for us guys with loads of sites is to get backlinks and posting and writing done for several sites every day. Its hard work

Some great advice here. I have many blogs, however, so it's a bit like spinning too many plates. I need to focus my efforts on one at a time.
