Thread: Ping List / Rss Lists

Thought I would share my ping list with everyone.
If you use WordPress, go to your "settings" Writing and cut and paste this list into the ping box. Then when you make a post it will shoot out to all of these lists. Hope it helps you get more traffic to your blogs

Does anyone have any evidence that pinging more sites is better?

Could pinging the 150 or so in Cathy's list be viewed as spamming?

I use pingler.com if I have a new site I am starting to work on. Just to get it into search engines.

If you do the research on this ping list you find that they ping some of the services already listed.

If a ping service gets to many pings from the same site you will get banned from that site.

Also did you no that if you are editing your articles or site every time you update you send a ping?

with a list like that i would get maxblogpress ping optimizer installed straight away like Azland55 said

and

check out the errors on the ping optimizer page for bad pings and wrong urls
there is duplicates in this list aswell.

after checking the list my self about ten of them or no good realy.
