Yeah I agree, the resource box is the most important part of your article submission. It needs to lead the reader to take further action rather than actually tell them about who you are as it is intended for! ;-)

Like all is simple, but it really works. Has checked up on my site.
So simple! I will use this for sure when I finally knuckle down to article marketing.
Thanks,
Graeme
Excellent post Cathy, as usual.
I was fortunate from the beginning in that I was warned not to commit those two deadly mistakes. It amazes me now how many gurus will tell you that you need to sell yourself in the bio. Pure hogwash. At that point in the buying process, the reader could care less who you are. They want information, not chest pounding. If you lead naturally from the article to the link and have them begging for more, they will click.
Many times newbies are scared to post their articles on the directories because they don't feel their work is "up to par" yet. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will see that 99% of the other writers don't have a clue how to write an effective article.
"Effective" meaning you get them to click the link. Nothing else matters.
A`good article should only be bait for more info., which you have for them.
Cheers,

and such like in there resource box ??
I have but not tracked results
What's funny is I've seen a good number of people say your resource box should be along the lines of "Justin is a blah blah blah..."
But nobody is reading the article to learn about you- they want answers to their problems! Promise them that if they click your link, and you'll be a lot better off.
I agree. Your resource box is effectively a repeat of your Description Tag. If your DT is great and get's you clicked upon when you get indexed then you are more than likely that it will have the same effect as your bio with link.

That is a very good piece of advise. I will have a go at implenting something like this in future articles.
Best wishes
