Thread: Safelists

Has anyone had any experience of "Safelists"?I Googled it and it came back with Paid and Free.

Hey Dave,
Recently read some about safelists....the recommendation was to use a paid service that does not require that you handle the return emails......
Then direct them to a special squeeze page (short and sweet) to capture for your list....
Writer says he did not a a great deal of sign ups but enough to make it worth while..
Also depends on the product or service...
I plan to try that in the near future...

I have used a free safelist service from a few different sites (I set up a new email just for them) and in all honesty total waste of time. Which I wasn't all that shocked at Free service no targeting. Maybe a paid safelist would be better but I for one wont be using them again.

I have more so back in the day when i first started all thou i am a member of a very big one called ipostad,

The thing is with safelists you are going back in time when emails marketing on that scale was very effective and it used to reap big rewards blasting out to thousands of lists you would make alot of sales.

now you would be lucky with 1 or 2 better going ezines

if you include this is your marketing i would just call it maybe 4% of your marketing maybe 5% but no more and it costs.

when they say free you will have maybe 4posts a mths.

even the ipostad i spoke about has a tons of lists but the thing is all the safelists are free to you so you will send out big marketing but 4times a month for say $12

This is where subject lines are crucial to get reader inside

I've tried them but i find them a waste of time; everyone's just clicking to get credits and your inbox just fill up with loads of useless emails.

If you are looking for quality traffic to your website, then places like here and Twitter is a great place to start.

I use twitter a lot and I get good sign ups from there. Just remember though - twitter don't like spams.

the ones you click are spins off from paid to click sites
there are alot of sites where you do not have to click and you get mailing credits each month for being a user.

twitter is the way everybody is turning nowadays thou building big followers is the crucial part to twitter

Thats is a very good piont to add to this with safelists you can get

contact address mailings
solo ads
top sponser ads
bottom sponser ads

all above cost but do work depending on amount and duration time of ad you have running with the top sponser and bottom sponser ads.

but do cost
