I use twitter for both networking and marketing but I have to be honest and say the amount of spam accounts under the tag of internet marketing that only promote products they are affiliate of is getting annoying and will eventually start to spoil it a bit for genuine Internet marketers, twitter cant be just for marketing your own products only a small % of your tweets should be advertising your stuff (i stick to around 5%) but its great for building relationships in the industry if you use it right

Very interesting to see how people view how to use twitter

I know from working with twitter you need to provide a little bait to get people over to your site to look at what you have to offer.

People don't want to be sold in any market so using a little thought goes a long way
