Hey drwizzy...lol..dif name....anyway I have been doing surveys for 8 years in the US and it actually can be good money...not a living but save all year and your 5 kids will have a pretty darn good Xmas...this link I saw above is a good one and if you do a reg search you will find all kinds of info. Just beware of the sites that say heres 5bucks for signing up...they will pay you yes but not until you make $50 on the site...which would be about 2099. Hi if you check my links I run a free site and one of the first things you will get is a comprehensive list of free to join survey sites.

Do not join though if you are expecting to earn a full time wage as it will not happen, but you can earn enough each year to pay for Christmas or the family holiday by doing surveys.

I think it wouldn't be worth your time to expect that you can earn even a decent "Christmas money" if you're not in the USA. There are much fewer opportunities for these international surveys and they also come in long intervals.

You will wait WHEN there is a survey in your country and then waste time answering the pre-survey questionnaires only to be told that you don't qualify.

Most of the well known survey sites do offer international access to most countries. I am based in the UK and I used to make regular monthly money from using survey sites. Although I now make my money in IM I still use 3 survey sites as they pay well and it does not take long to accumulate the payout limit.

I also know of people not based in the USA who make good monthly payments from survey sites. There are some guidelines you need to follow though.

Do not pay to join sites that promise that you can earn $25 per survey. This is very unlikely. The most I was ever paid for one survey was $16 and that was a one off.

Do not expect it to replace a regular income from working as it will not do that. You need to view doing surveys for money as a way to earn extra money.

Make sure this is how you want to make money, as completing surveys can soon become very tedious and boring.

Read all the rules and conditions before joining up. Especially the section on how much you have to earn before they pay you.

Stick to the rules they set you. If you break them you will probably lose all the money you have made for that pay period.

Thanks, Garry, for that information. I think it boils down to what country drwizzy is from. I'm from Asia and international surveys are not yet a good source of extra cash over here. :-)

Yes that is true some of the asian countries still do not have unrestricted use to the internet. Hopefully some time soon they will get the same access most of the remaining world enjoy.

This business of not enough replies to see links, not being able to PM is driving me nuts. I do realize it is in our best interest but it still is annoying. I feel like I am being punished or something. I also feel like I am missing out on alot of good info. I guess patience is a virtue.

Completely new to this forum today. Only realising we need to post to learn. Huh. Anyway I have completed online surveys for several companies and half way throught the survey get told the company has recieved enough replies and atuomatically get stoppped even if i have just spent 25 mins completing some of the survey. Really annoying

Some survey sites pays while some are just pure time wasters. I have taken survey with some of them and I have been able to see those that live up to expectation even up to the point that they pay you up to $25 and more for taking a survey. For example dollarsurvey will pay you $1 per survey funny though but you can get up to 4 3 surveys per day depending on your profile. So if you get $3 per day then multiplied by 30 days thats $90. I think its something right?

I tried doing surveys but I couldn't bother doing a 40 minute survey for $2 or less. Despite what survey sites say, you cannot quit your full time job to do surveys.
