This tool uses the Yahoo site explorer data, limited to only 1000 links. Good, but Majestic takes it to a higher level.

Looks like they both have their place. Backlink Watch tells you what anchor text is being used, including graphic if any plus nofollow tags. And majesticseo isn't limited and gives # of external domains etc. Thank you for both links, they will come in handy.

I have to agree with you Vorsta. I keep trying different ones when I see them recommended, but I always end up back with this one.

The cool thing about majestic is that it can compare your backlinks with your competitor's over time. What I do is put them over each other on the chart, and see if my competitors are trying to play catch up. If I see that they are gaining ground, I start up a new backlink campaign to stay on top of them.

I have doubts that majestic can scrape the internet better than yahoo :/.

I use search.yahoo.com it's simple and exactly what anybody needs

I have used MajesticSEO and it works very well.

There's not a lot of information that is provided, depending on the level of membership you have chosen. Just use the free one for a while, until you get used to the software.

I use google webmaster tools.

You got to make sure these backlinks are good credible sites otherwise its not going to help u with your SEO especially on big search engines like google and yahoo

google search "seo spyglass" for the ultimate free in depth backlink checker.

SEOmoz is the best for sure. The free portion has its limitations but it has a bunch of fantastic tools.

but regarding backlink watcher I find it not accurate and there services is half bake. Since it gives you limited results of the links.

There are many tools availabe on the internet which are used to check the back link for the website .
People generally used Back link watch and SEO Quake which both are used to yahoo site explorer which limit 1000 link not more than that. There is on more tool which can shows the back links more than 1000 and higher this SEO Spyglass which the come with SEO power suite. You can use this tool to check your website or competitior webiste back links.
