I want some copywriter to write a sales letter for me due to my english skills is very poor. But I heard it is very expensive to ask a copywriter to write a sales letter.

Well, a can of worms indeed you have opened. It all depends on your budget. A good copy writer will make you fantastic money, if you have the money to hire one.

I seem to remember a thread here where our hosts paid $xx,xxx.00 for a great copywriter and made $x,xxx,xxx.00 from the campaign.

You see, it's all in the budget and of course the references!

I have found really good copywriters for $197 per sales letter. That's the lowest price I've ever found that deliver quality stuff. This is also english speaking writers.

Copywriting is a valuable skill, most people that have truly invested in learning it (myself included) won't do it for a low price, my advice is to do as much of the work as you can such as mapping out what you are offering, your proof, what they will pay and why it's a deal... before approaching someone, that way they won't need to spend as much time writing your sales copy.

I won't mention that I am a great writer.

But my suggestion is that if you want to hire any writer, know EXACTLY what you want and when you want it completed. Price can also be affected by the deadline. I raise my price if the deadline is so tight I have to delay other regular work.

Well, in a type of business there is always a capital and in this case..In order for you to have a great sales letter that will help out the business so truly drastically high you will need to spend some for the writer ;)
