Start simple. Write articles and submit to the following directories:
Ezinearticles.com
GoArticles.com
Articlebase.com
ArticleAlley.com
ArticleDashboard.com
IdeaMarketers.com
Buzzle.com

and a lot more.

Make it a practice to write quality articles and submit at least 1 article per day to the above directories. You will get a lot more links and good traffic.

Just dot this alone, nothing else. Don't get distracted, and you'll see results.

It is easy if you do just "one" thing at a time. Its very easy as well to get distracted by the next best thing or so called "magic button" Follow and learn what others who have been successful are doing and stay the course and you will see success.

Maybe but you have to initially promote the blog so you may as well spend the time (and money) promoting the site itself.

I think you can do social media marketing or social networking for promoting your site. If you want to get fast result you can do PPC if you have enough budget for your website.

There are many thing which can be used to promote a website in internet marketing. internet marketing has main three phase.
1. SEO - this is the natual technique in which your website will be optimized for some specific search engine and search query in order to get the ranking in SERPs.

2. Create one account in

About 100 links to a new site should put you into sandbox, especially if you get 100 in first few months and much less next few months.
