Thread: Great looking Wordpress Themes

I stumbled onto a list today of some of the best wordpress
themes ive seen in a while and you can check these out for yourself,

That you are *right*. Some really good looking themes there. A couple had price tags on them, but $12 is not much for a good looking theme I would think!

Looks really good and reasonably priced.I like the Office Theme.

I do have a question on these WP themes...

Early on (Dec 2009) I was told that having your text, articles, listed on the left side really really helped SEO as the search engines looked there for the articles...

I notice that many themes are now putting columns on the left side. Does this mean that search engines have evolved to be more effective this way? Or has the concept of a site map really changed how this style of theme is addressed?

Any news on this?

Pierre, thats real news to me mate
ive not heard this before and to be honest i would disagree with it as the first place a search bot will go
1) file directories - searching for robots txt - sitemap xml php html
which ever each prefer

2) meta tags - keywords -head tags

3) on page links - seo

hope this helps because ive not heard this at all and i can tell you that the left hand side of any page is where the human eye travels to first more than any other side when landing on a web page, ive looked over seo heat maps and thats where the left side idea come from.

( heats maps or online studies of human eye locations/reactions to webpages)
